Due to a considerable increase in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in school, Public Health England have advised us that the wearing of face masks in all communal areas is to become compulsory again for all students and staff, until further notice. Face masks will need to be worn when students are moving around the school site but are currently optional in classrooms. If your child has previously been medically exempt from this, their Head of Year will be aware. However, if your child has recently become exempt from wearing a face mask on medical grounds, please inform your child’s Head of Year by providing medical evidence.
This measure will come into effect from Monday 20th September 2021. Please support us and our local community by providing your child with a face mask to wear in school. If you do not have a face mask to give to your child, they can ask for one in school. Thank you in advance for your help and support.
