Students are taught a Modern Foreign Language in Teaching Groups, in years 7, 8 and 9, using data in line with school policy. French and Spanish are taught in Key Stage 3 and at the start of year 7, students study either French or Spanish and then study the same language throughout Key Stage 3. Students are given aspirational targets and lessons are planned and delivered to enhance understanding and enjoyment of the subject as we, students and staff strive together to meet these targets. At the beginning of year 9 students embark on the AQA GCSE course.​​​​​​​
