Report of an incident in the Oldbury Area – 06/07/21

A pupil was walking to school, ahead of their parent, when the parent noticed a white medium sized van driving slowly up the road. The van pulled in close to the pupil and the three male occupants of the van, described as Asian, asked if the pupil wanted some sweets and asked him to “come here”. The pupil ran back to his mother and the van sped off.

The police are being informed by the parent.

Report of an incident in the Tipton area – 23/06/21

A parent has reported to a school of a male acting suspiciously in the vicinity of two schools in the Tipton area.

The male is reported to sit and watch the school and playground areas. The parent has seen him on a number of occasions.

Report of an incident in the Oldbury area -21/06/21

A report has been received that two students [Year 7 and Year 8] were offered sweets and attempts were made to lure them into a black car by a male. Both students ran home safely.

Description: Asian male, stocky build.

The police have been notified.

Report of an incident in the West Bromwich area – 17/06/21

A report has been received that on Wednesday 16 June 2021 at 3.10pm, while two students were walking home, a male exposed himself. One of the student’s also witnessed the male committing a sexual act. The students walked away, and the male followed them for a short while, the students went back into school.

Description: male, in his 40’s, approximately 5ft 6 inches tall, dark hair and wearing a black‑mask, blue jacket and dark blue trousers.

The police have been notified.

Report of an incident in the Smethwick area – 15/06/21

A parent has reported to a school that a Year 7 student was walking along the pavement when a van slammed its brakes on next to the student. The passenger wound his window down and the driver pulled on a red face mask. The student ran home as he was scared.

Description: two Asian males, one wearing a bandana. The van was described as a white Transit style van and “quite battered”.

The police have been notified.

Report of an incident in the Oldbury area – 24/05/21

A report has been received from a member of the public that a car pulled over, by Causeway Green Road, and asked where “Pound Road School was”. She told him, but the car turned into Ashes Road and not Pound Road, and then 10 students came running out saying the man was going to stab them.

Description: white male, mid-30’s, with brown hair and wearing a white cap. The car was described as a blue Peugeot.

The students and the member of the public notified the police.

Report of an incident in the West Bromwich area  – 14/05/21

A report has been received that a member of staff was walking down Willett Road and was followed by a car. Near the end of the road the car stopped, the male got out of the car and spoke to the member of staff. He asked if she was a student, when she replied that she was a member of staff he quickly got back into his car and drove off.

Description: Asian male, with a bald head. The car was described has a “white people carrier” type car.

Police have been notified.

Report of an incident in the Rowley Regis area – 13/05/21

A report has been received that a student was on the way to school when a white transit van slowed down and followed the student. The van stopped, and the driver stared at the student and then drove off.
