Students and staff united together in a day of fund raising and giving to support Black Country Foodbank with donations of goods and money.
Alongside food, toiletries and sanitary products to support many families within our local community, we also held a few activities where students threw wet sponges at teachers, including Head of Humanities Mr Bromell, Mr Pinfield (PE) and Deputy Head Mr Morris.
There was also a cake sale and a school band busking in the playground with all funds going to the foodbank.
Organiser Mr Bromell says the foodbank were very appreciative for the kind gestures and donations made by the students:
“The Black Country Food Bank were really grateful for the donations we made. It was a great day and lovely to see everyone coming together for a good cause. Looking out for those in our community who need help is something we’re all really passionate about.”
